How to Stabilize the Voltage of DC Gear motor

 It will affect the performance of DC gear motor if the voltage is not stable. How shall we solve this problem? Here with some methods from the experts in ZHAOWEI for your reference:
1. Parallel an appropriate resistive load in both ends of motor resistance. The change of resistance from the resistive load after heating will obtain a non-linear resistance. This characteristic will produce a larger angle between the field resistance line and excitation curve in the beginning stage to form an intersection with the no-load characteristic curve.  This method will bring a stable working point for the DC gear reducer when it works under the low voltage.
2. Place a good magnetic conductor under the pole shoe to reduce the gap of exciting magnetic field. It will bring the saturation of the output characteristics when it is under the small excitation current. This method will stabilize the output voltage as well. 
3. Apply the automatic excitation regulator. Because it has an excitation characteristic and various regulating modes like the constant reactive power, power factor, etc. They will be very effective to improve the system stability and transient response capability
Those methods above can not only stabilize the voltage of DC gear reducer, but also can solve the swing problem of reactive power from the instable output voltage and the fluctuated system voltage.
