Adapt Optimal Lubricating Oil
ZHAOWEI summarizes the common faults of extruder gearbox and finds that the main manifestations of improper maintenance are incorrect brands of lubricating oil used by customers and failure to change the lubricating oil according to the maintenance period.
Using lubricating oil that is not in accordance with the brands of extruder gearbox can aggravate the wear of tooth surface, shortening the service life of gear and bearing. Even if using correct lubricating oil brand, failure to maintain according to maintenance requirements and change lubricating oil timely can make plenty of sludge scale and lead to the invalid lubrication system, and seriously abrade tooth surface in a short period, eventually damage bearing for lack of lubrication.
Oil Leak Inspection
Oil leak inspection is essential to gearbox maintenance, which should proceed from machining precision and the problem of sealing ring. Timed check on oil seal lip for damage, oil seal for aging, whether the cavity aperture is oversize or damage, oil return hole for unobstruction, whether the oil intake is too large, whether the fit between the oil seal lip and the journal is too loose, and whether the coaxiality of oil seal and journal meets the requirements are suggested.
