The car central locking motor is a micro drive gear motor. In order to run, the central locking motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. The electric motor makes the gear turn to open and close the door. It is mainly composed of a door lock switch, door lock actuator, and door lock controller. The door lock actuator is controlled by the door lock controller in order to lock and open the door lock.
There are three kinds of structures: the electromagnetic motor, DC motor, and permanent magnet motor. The central locking motor is the drive device in the car remote central lock whose main transmission structure is assembled by a drive motor and gearbox. The drive motor can use a brushed DC motor, BLDC motor, stepper motor, or coreless motor as the drive source while the gearbox can use planetary gearhead, cylindrical gearhead, or worm gearhead as the reducer.
